Although it sounds like a very daunting task, getting your garage organized is actually a lot simpler than it seems.
There are lots of simple garage storage solutions to try out, but when scouting for the most effective ones, there are some things that you have to bear in mind.
The first (and most obvious) would be the size of your garage. There’s go to be a reason that it is cluttered with so many things and consider the fact that it might be that your garage is too small. If your garage is not so spacious, you should probably opt for garage storage solutions that do not take up too much floor space, like shelving or wall cabinets. Anything too big for your garage might even add to your mess, instead of fixing it!
You should also think about taking certain safety precautions, especially if you have kids in the house and power tools lying around in your garage. Such items could harm someone if they’re not careful, so make sure to get a storage closet with a lock or some shelves that are out of reach of children.
