Google Adsense, and by extension Google Adwords Management , are a great way to earn money online. However it takes time, practice and a little bit of luck to properly master and get a real grip on the workings of a Pay per Click system. However it does help to understand how the system works so that you can more carefully target your content and earn more traffic.
The basics of Google Adwords and Adsense are pretty easy to understand, really. What happens is that your website or Internet content is filled with keywords that make it searchable. So when people look for cake recipes, lists of horror authors or ways to quit smoking the search engine will find your keywords and bring your page to the traffic. Google Adwords on the other hand will go through your website and find appropriate advertisements to put on the page based on the subject matter and on the keywords you have present. So if you have a webpage about green tips for home air fresheners you're likely to see ads for Earth friendly air freshener products, as well as for other ways to scent or de-scent your home. The goal here is to match appropriate advertising as directly as possible with the subject matter of the content.
Once you have regular traffic coming to your website all you need to do is to have people click on the advertisements. Whether they do it purposefully or accidentally doesn't matter as long as they click and it gets recorded. The program records the click, and you are then paid accordingly for the value of that particular advertisement. So you might earn as little as a penny, or as much as $2.50, depending on what was clicked.
So all you have to do to ensure that you make money is that you have targeted content that earns you regular page views, and that you have keywords and subject matter that lends itself towards advertising. It's a lot harder than it sounds at first, but with time and practice it can earn you a regular and impressive income.
